Well what a start to 2017 !! not just competing with the best in the world but achieving a silver individual medal after being 3rd of the dock. safe to say I managed to put the pressure on once I ran my 11.25m (38 off) pass, then managing to equal my personal best of 2@10.75m (39.5 off) This was a huge achievement for me as this was only my second time running 11.25m in competition. I unfortunately missed buoy 3 by a whisker, not quite managing to get my ski around it. It ended up being a run off between me and my teammate Rob Hazelwood which was fun!! I managed to get 3.5@11.25 whilst rob got 4@11.25 which meant rob took the gold. I was so happy for Rob because he has put so much work into this competition and he thoroughly deserves it. so now is the time for a short rest before getting back on the ski in the cold waters of the UK. Id just like to say thanks to all the people who have helped me get to where I am now I couldn't have done it without you lot. Thanks to Tom and June Fladbourg Asher who gave me the best coaching possible and letting me ski at their wonderful lake in Haines City Florida. thanks to all the members at Three Sisters Waterski Club for all your suggestions and tips over the years, this is much appreciated and especially to Stuart Lillis without whom there would not be a world class site to ski on in the north west. also to Nick McGarry form the Waterski academy in Whitworth who has helped me immensely with my skiing the past year. Finally there are two people I have not yet mentioned, they are the best, kindest, loving and caring people you could meet, they're my grandparents Bob and Pauline Davies which I could have not done anything without them over these past years. so thank you so so much I love you so much and everything you have done for me is greatly appreciated. I would not be in this wonderful sport without you trying it all those years ago.

much to
